PPPDemo demonstrates the use of the PPP add-on for RTIP-32. This demo can run in several different configurations depending on these preprocessor symbol definitions:

SERVER. The program is a server clients can connect to.
CLIENT. The program is a client which will dial into a server.
WINDOWS_DCC. The program will connect with Windows Direct Cable Connection.
DIAL_MODEM. The program will connect through a modem.

Please review the source code for various configuration parameters such as serial port number, baud rate, user name and password, etc.

Once the program has established a connection, you can press 'p' on the target's keyboard to send a ping message to the host it has connected to. To test the connection, you can also ping the target from another machine.

This demo assumes that only servers will assign IP addresses. If configured as a client, it will not be able to connect to servers which do not supply IP addresses.
